Zoë Holland
Landscape Designer

Zoë joined Stimson in 2022. Zoë comes to Stimson from New York City, where she gained experience working on projects embedded in the region’s communities and ecology with a focus on climate adaptation and affordable housing projects. Growing up in New York loving the outdoors and nature, she’s had a lifelong appreciation for urban parks and public spaces. She developed a particularly early appreciation for the maintenance and expertise these spaces require as a horticulture apprentice in Central Park, picking up trash and pulling up endless Japanese knotweed for her first summer job in high school.

Zoë received an MLA from Harvard Graduate School of Design where her work primarily explored the agency of designers to respond to the climate crisis across scales. She also developed a curiosity for material processes in design, from reuse of asphalt to clay applications in landscape architecture. She received her B.A. in Environmental Policy from Colorado College. As an undergraduate she studied ecology and land management practices in the Southwest and the Rockies.
