Tina Tsai
Landscape Designer

Tina studied Architecture at Cheng Kung University in Taiwan before earning a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she won the BSLA Excellence Award and the ASLA Excellence Award in Residential Design during the 2020 academic year. As a recipient of the Penny White Award Fund, she focused her research on the shifting culture of hydrological systems in Taiwanese Hakka settlements. During her time at GSD, she honed in on issues surrounding littoral environments under dynamic circumstances, such as sea level rise and insufficient public realms.

Prior to her position at STIMSON, she worked as an architect and intern at several architecture practices in Taiwan and Spain. Outside of work, Tina is an amateur comic illustrator who loves to depict human figures and plants.
