Megan grew up in California, at the base of the Santa Monica Mountain Range. Her deep connection with the land came from years of riding horses along the fire trails that traverse these mountains. In college, she was drawn to landscape architecture through classes at the school's Urban Farm, where she grew food and learned the value of engaging with local farmers. Her hobbies include hiking, tending to her ever-growing indoor plant collection, and exploring new recipes.

Megan received a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon, where she was granted the ASLA Merit Award and was named the 2018 University Olmsted Scholar. While there, she was a research assistant at the University of Oregon Institute for a Sustainable Environment and worked for the University’s Aerial Photography and Map Library.  Prior to joining STIMSON in 2020, Megan worked as a landscape designer in Cambridge, MA.
