Laura Gomez
Studio Director
Laura holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Prior to joining STIMSON in spring 2013, Laura worked in offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay area, on projects ranging from large-scale international master plans to intimate woodland gardens. She currently serves as project manager on a number of residential and institutional projects, playing an integral role in the design and coordination of built landscapes from concept through construction.
Laura believes in the regenerative power of design and its ability to enhance community and social engagement while challenging the perceptions of our everyday environments. Her interest in exploring this at all scales of practice informs her design process and fuels her optimism for landscape as a platform for meaningful placemaking.
