Cecilia Huber
Landscape Designer

Cecilia joined STIMSON in 2020. Prior to joining the team, she received her Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her design and research explored how policy and management practices shape historical and agricultural landscapes. Her Penny White Research grant, Patchwork Horizon, brought her into the field across the Midwest to study Farm Bill conservation programs and private-lands prairie restoration.

Before graduate school, Cecilia worked as a land use specialist at a law firm, learning the ins and outs of city planning in Los Angeles, and as studio assistant at dosa, where she developed a particular appreciation for craft and detail. As an undergraduate at UCLA, she contributed to research at cityLAB, an architecture and urban design think tank.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, she has spent most of her life exploring the vast landscapes of the American west. Her appreciation for landscape has deep roots, informed by countless trips to visit her family's farm in rural southern Illinois and her grandparents' ancestral home in the rugged mountains of Antioquia, Colombia.
