Growing up on Conanicut Island, Ramón developed a fascination with landscapes that exist in the nexus between land and sea. He received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Rhode Island, where he explored studio and research projects focused on mitigating the impact climate change and sea level rise have on coastal communities.
As a designer, Ramon has cultivated a curiosity for breathing life into neglected urban landscapes. Prior to joining STIMSON he focused his work at a Providence, Rhode Island studio on the redevelopment and repurposing of underutilized and abandoned urban sites.
