Nursery and Farm Operations
David Pratt has a background in prototype design, having worked for over a decade as a fabricator for Princeton Prototypes. His exposure to both mechanical engineering and farming from a young age has given him a fluency in machinery and agricultural methods.
David is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all nursery and farm equipment. He has a keen interest in the engineered systems of machinery and is an experienced welder. He also leads the water management and irrigation system for the nursery and oversees the pest identification and control program. When he is not in the field, David is in charge of the nursery and farm research related to soil science, composting, plant biology and grazing methods.
