Christopher Buccino, ASLA

Chris studied urban design in Paris, extreme urbanism in Mumbai and urban theory in the Peruvian Amazon. He is passionate about cultivating big ideas and crafting fine details. His primary interest is the creation of landscapes and places that embrace the complexity of climate shift adaptation, blurring social and ecological functions. Since joining STIMSON in 2008, his design experience spans all project scales and types, from Phil Hardberger Park in San Antonio, Texas to Northeast Harbor, a private residence on Mount Desert Island in Maine. Chris received his Master of Landscape Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he was a finalist in the Harvard i-Lab Dean’s Cultural Entrepreneurship Challenge in 2013, and his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida, where he received an ASLA Merit Award in 2008.
